15 Day Utada Hikaru Challenge / Day 04: Least Favourite Song
“Eternally”.
I absolutely cannot stand slow, lovey-dovey love song ballads and “Eternally” is the epitome of that. As soon as hear those piano chords start playing whenever iTunes is on shuffle, I just have to press the next button ASAP. The bass line in the original version is unbearably too, too, too strong and heavy. It’s my least favourite song to the point that I haven’t even been bothered to buy the Drama Mix off the Australian iTunes store. Heck, the last time I heard that version was when it came out all the way back in 2008!
Also, what I’m about to say might make a lot of people, but I don’t really like listening to “First Love”. Sure it’s an absolute masterpiece and very genius of Hikki to compose/write such a piece at the age of 15, but it’s a tad overrated. I also haven’t been bothered to buy the CD single…
I’m gonna get bashed so many people because of this post, so I’d like to apologise for my opinions.
Okay, will attempt to catch up on the rest of the days I missed starting from tomorrow!
